This card counting system (which is sometimes referred to as the Einstein count) is for advanced players, those who know basic strategy, have tried the Hi-Lo count and want to find something more to increase their odds. This system just like the Hi-Lo is based on the adding and subtracting principle. However, this system differs a lot from the previous one and is more accurate.
As you are here, you are ready to find out what it takes to become a professional in blackjack. The Hi-Opt 1 Counting system is designed for those who are ready to use more complicated and advanced counting methods. As with all the other complicated gambling strategies, this one is debatable and there are those who believe in it and use it and there are those who think it does not work because they've lost once or twice. Therefore, you have to remember, that this strategy can not eliminate the house edge and make you a winner all the time, it can make you win more often.
The strategy of this counting system is not too complicated, however you need to be focused on the table at all times. The system is based on adding and subtracting 1 but the values of the cards are not like at the Hi-Lo system.
The cards at this count are divided into groups. Cards valued as 0 do not influence the overall count, these are 2, 7, 8 and 9. Tens are valued as −1 and small cards 3-6 are counted as +1. Aces fall into separate category and can be counted separately or players may play according to the Basic Strategy.
